Electronics Supply Line Engineer (Electronics)

What you will do

• Lead technical due diligence for electronic component selection, qualification, and lifecycle management.
• Partner with global design teams to enable component selection for new designs and platform standardization.
• Provide technical guidance to contract manufacturers regarding approved parts and qualified alternates.
• Drive obsolescence and PCN impact analysis, risk mitigation, and continuity-of-supply plans.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality, cost, manufacturability, and long-term supply resilience.
• Maintain accurate component attributes and sourcing data in PLM systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 4+ years of experience in supply line, component, or supplier engineering within the electronics industry.
• Expertise in sourcing electronic components, qualification, and PCN change management.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and datasheets, and experience with PLM systems.
• English: C1 or higher required.
• Must be based in Costa Rica; no visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Supplier quality management experience.
• Knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.
