Location: Hybrid/Remote across hirify.global regions

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software components, including features, fixes, and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to translate user needs into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with senior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and mentoring sessions.
  • Operate and support services, including bug fixing and incident support.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing through demos, documentation, and guild sessions.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of commercial software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Java (v17+) and Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding of OOP and software engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience with Docker, RESTful APIs, and microservice architecture.
  • Solid SQL skills and exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.

Nice to have

  • Frontend experience with Angular or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS, AWS Lambda, and Terraform (IaC).
  • Knowledge of Spring Batch, Spring Cloud, or Spring Reactive.
  • Familiarity with TDD and automated testing practices.
  • Ability to use AI-assisted coding tools for development and documentation.
