TL;DR

DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure for next-generation data analytics platforms with an accent on automation, observability, and system reliability. Focus on implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing AWS services, and optimizing the release process for data products.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Latin America (Latams))

What you will do

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage and monitor AWS instances and services, including Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • Build a monitoring, metrics, and logging platform for all projects.
  • Automate and improve development and release processes.
  • Collaborate with software and data engineers to ensure scalable and secure processes.
  • Plan projects and contribute to project management decisions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Proficiency with AWS, Github Actions, Kubernetes, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse).
  • Must be based in Latin America.
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of agile development processes.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Java (Spring) and Python.
  • Familiarity with Jira and observability frameworks like Grafana.
  • Experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudWatch, and Cloudflare.
  • Knowledge of Redis, Amazon SQS, and AWS Cognito.
