What you will do

• Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure supporting system migrations and platform growth.
• Own production environment reliability, performance, security, high uptime, and capacity planning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Chef.
• Monitor system health using Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog; define metrics and response playbooks.
• Lead security practices, address vulnerabilities, and drive SOC 2 compliance.
• Partner with engineering teams on operational requirements and architecture decisions; champion AI adoption in DevOps.
• Handle on-call incidents, root cause analyses, and preventive fixes.

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on AWS experience (IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail; multi-account, SSO).
• Terraform for IaC; Chef or Ansible.
• CI/CD with GitHub, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins; GitOps.
• Enterprise monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog.
• Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, durable fixes; SOC 2 and security practices.
• Read Java, Ruby, Bash/Zsh, HCL, Python, JavaScript.
• Comfort with weekly on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Container/orchestration: Docker, ECS, EKS.
• Migrating workloads to AWS from on-prem/colocation.
• Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, .NET; MongoDB replica sets.
• ISO 27001, Layer 7 load balancing, Terragrunt; hospitality tech background.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
