Technical Lead (TypeScript)

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate a distributed team of frontend, backend, mobile, and DevOps engineers.
• Provide architectural guidance across all layers of the platform and drive technical decision-making.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact between the delivery team and client stakeholders.
• Identify technical risks and proactively propose mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives in collaboration with project management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a technical lead or architect role managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong proficiency across full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems (React, Next.js, Node.js, Fastify).
• Working knowledge of React Native and mobile development workflows.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, specifically GCP (Kubernetes, Cloud Run).
• Ability to work across US time zones.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in sports, media, or entertainment platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and caching strategies at scale.
