What you will do

• Act as the primary functional lead for Workday Core Financials, Procurement, and Expenses during a greenfield implementation.
• Partner with implementation teams to design FDM/Chart of Accounts, fiscal calendars, and multi-entity/multi-currency structures.
• Co-own data readiness, define mapping rules, and lead legacy system decommissioning.
• Conduct process workshops for P2P, O2C, and R2R to synthesize requirements and prioritize trade-offs.
• Own the post-go-live functional roadmap, managing backlogs, quarterly releases, and solution optimization.
• Champion AI/ML features for reconciliation, anomaly detection, and forecasting.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Workday Financials functional lead or senior consultant, including at least one full-lifecycle implementation.
• Deep functional knowledge of Workday Core Financials (GL, AP, AR), Expenses, and Procurement.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP/IFRS concepts and statutory reporting.
• Workday certification in Financials/Expenses/Procurement or Workday Pro is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday EIB, Studio, or Cloud Connect.
• Must be based in London

Nice to have

• Experience with Prism Analytics or Adaptive Planning.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or MuleSoft (or similar iPaaS).
• Exposure to role-based security, SoD design, and audit/SOX processes.
