What you will do

• Design, write, and test embedded software running on satellites.
• Develop various ground control and testing software.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to solve hard problems in satellite communications.
• Personally design and test software from scratch to ensure reliability in space.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with C/C++ and scripting language(s).
• US Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency (Green Card), or Refugee/Asylee Status required.
• Must be onsite in San Francisco 5 days a week.
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded systems running on bare metal.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience with FPGA or DSP programming.
