What you will do

• Design and develop robust, maintainable ETL/ELT pipelines within a Databricks environment.
• Implement medallion architecture to create trustworthy data products for business reporting.
• Create Power BI visuals, dashboards, and data models to deliver governance-aware insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional international teams, including compliance experts and product owners.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage production pipelines while ensuring GDPR and PCI compliance.
• Contribute to the shared data platform strategy and established best practices.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and API integration.
• Strong SQL skills, including procedural programming in Oracle and Postgres.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, or GCP.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Puppet) and Linux system administration.
• Practical understanding of data modeling and medallion architecture.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Bucharest, Romania.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools.
• Experience configuring S3 and SFTP file transfer solutions.
