What you will do

• Develop and enhance backend features using PHP and Symfony to power the Fraîche app and operational tooling.
• Manage and optimize data systems including PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Lead the infrastructure migration from Upsun to AWS to improve scalability and reliability.
• Implement IoT backend solutions for smart fridge interactions, including secure unlocks and real-time inventory.
• Contribute to the mobile application (approx. 30% of the role) using Flutter or React Native.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and refine product requirements.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with PHP and Symfony in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch (data modeling and performance tuning).
• Experience with message queues and Redis for asynchronous processing.
• Ability to contribute to mobile development using Flutter or React Native.
• English: Intermediate proficiency or higher required.
• Fluency with AI engineering tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with IoT/Hardware integration (MQTT, RFID, NFC).
• Proven track record of executing cloud migrations to AWS.
• Knowledge of observability tools, logging, and incident response.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
