What you will do

• Build shared platform services, tooling, and automation supporting data products across teams
• Develop reusable patterns for data ingestion, transformation, publishing, and workflows
• Maintain platform components and utilities using Python and infrastructure as code
• Contribute to internal tools improving usability and reducing manual effort
• Partner with engineers on scalable, maintainable solutions with CI/CD practices
• Support secure integrations, observability, and AI-assisted productivity tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent + 3+ years software/platform engineering experience
• Strong Python programming for production-grade applications, services, APIs, or tools
• Experience with cloud environments like AWS, data platforms, and data-intensive workflows
• Systems design focused on reliability, maintainability, and operational support
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, secure connectivity, and networking
• Strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Modern data tech like Snowflake, dbt
• Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, internal platform tooling
• SaaS integrations, metadata/governance workflows
• Developer experience improvements via templates/automation
• Observability practices and AI tools like Cursor/Claude
