What you will do

• Review cases using LIMS to ensure accuracy and completeness of pathology tissue samples.
• Interpret pathology reports and clinical notes to perform precise data entry for each sample.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve potential discrepancies.
• Manage notes and holds for non-conforming samples and escalate issues for timely resolution.
• Confirm cancer types for the reporting team via email and spreadsheets before report issuance.
• Maintain daily case metrics and adhere strictly to all SOPs.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; BS/BA degree preferred.
• 2+ years of medical industry experience, preferably in pathology.
• Proven experience in data entry with a typing speed of at least 45wpm.
• Ability to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) and complete HIPAA privacy training.
• Strong critical thinking skills and high attention to detail.
