What you will do

• Develop and implement university-wide communication initiatives and projects aligned with the strategic plan.
• Write, design, and edit community stories, website content, surveys, and research reports.
• Lead the compilation and editing of the bi-weekly university-wide newsletter hirify.global Today.
• Act as Editor for The Watercooler, the quarterly newsletter for the External Relations portfolio.
• Manage the internal communications web presence, including uploading and archiving announcements.
• Develop storytelling strategies and content for multi-channel publishing.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communications plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work within a large, complex institutional or multi-stakeholder environment.
• Commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Nice to have

• Diploma in Communications or Journalism.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge and experience using web CMS and email tools.
