What you will do

• Develop deep distributed RL training systems tailored for Varsapura's gameplay features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML algorithms into the game design.
• Own research project roadmaps and iterate on feature requirements for production deployment.
• Implement advanced asset processing techniques to ensure high-quality, optimized game assets.
• Apply latest advancements in ML, computer vision, and data compression to enhance the gaming experience.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or 8+ years of equivalent high-level research experience.
• Expertise in applied machine learning and reinforcement learning algorithms.
• Experience designing RL tasks from end to end, preferably involving 3D environments and spatial reasoning.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Game development experience with a strong understanding of gameplay systems and real-time constraints.
• Familiarity with distributed training on AWS or GCP, including performance debugging.

Nice to have

• Record of publications or contributions to the machine learning and computer vision communities.
• Knowledge of asset processing pipelines, including 3D modeling, texturing, and animation.
