What you will do

• Assemble bespoke machinery and integrate it onto vehicles.
• Perform new machine builds and refurbishment work.
• Execute planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.
• Conduct fault finding, repair, replacement, and testing of components.
• Liaise with colleagues and customers regarding breakdowns and repairs.
• Complete repair and maintenance records and support new team members.

Requirements

• Recognised mechanical qualification or strong relevant experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools, marking out, drilling, grinding, and dressing.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• HGV licence.
• Experience with small diesel or petrol engines.
• Knowledge of compressors, high-volume blowers, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
