Location: UK Remote

£500 - £550 per day (Outside IR35, initial 6 month contract)

What you will do

• Build prototypes and evolve them into scalable, production-ready applications
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Python
• Contribute to frontend development, building responsive user interfaces in React
• Design and implement data workflows and system integrations
• Work with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
• Collaborate on architecture, design decisions, and technical solutions with engineering and product teams
• Support media or data-driven features, ensuring code quality, testing, and peer reviews

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in full stack software engineering
• Strong experience building modern web applications
• Experience developing backend services and APIs in Python
• Experience with JavaScript-based frontend frameworks (React preferred)
• Solid understanding of web architecture, system design, scalable applications, databases, and data systems
• Familiarity with cloud environments, modern development workflows, and distributed systems or event-driven architectures
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative engineering experience

Nice to have

• Experience with media-related applications (video or audio features)
• Familiarity with modern system design patterns and scalable architectures
• Experience in fast-paced product or startup environments
