What you will do

• Perform comprehensive medical record reviews to ensure coding accuracy.
• Validate AI diagnostic models to improve clinical accuracy and quality.
• Apply ICD-10 guidelines to assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing coding models.
• Collaborate on process improvements for efficient healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent experience in inpatient coding and/or auditing.
• Strong expertise in the ICD-10 classification system.
• Active RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS credentials.
• Familiarity with DRG and inpatient reimbursement methodologies.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI coding tools or CAC systems.
• Background in auditing or coding quality assurance roles.
• Familiarity with AI labeling or annotation workflows.
• CCDS or CDIP credentials.
