What you will do

• Define technical strategy, roadmap, architecture, and guidelines across projects and disciplines.
• Evaluate solutions for complex challenges, step in hands-on for critical features, and introduce new technologies.
• Serve as primary technical contact for clients, support bids, and communicate progress, risks, and solutions.
• Lead and mentor engineers and technical artists, guide leads on best practices, and conduct performance reviews.
• Identify risks, implement mitigations, and ensure quality, performance, stability, and scalability.

Requirements

• 15+ years of programming experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience shipping at least one AA/AAA title in a senior technical role.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Strong C++ skills, working knowledge of C#, Python, or Lua.
• Deep experience with modern game engines, especially Unreal Engine 5.
• Solid grounding in software architecture, design patterns, OOP; experience across PC and Gen 9 consoles.
• Proven leadership as Technical Director, Director of Engineering, CTO, or similar; strong strategic thinking.

Nice to have

• Experience in co-development or outsourcing environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and pipeline/toolchain optimization.
• Interest in performance optimization and low-level systems.
