What you will do

  • Create and update conda recipes for building, testing, and releasing conda packages.
  • Manage source code, dependencies, and patches using C and C++.
  • Release native applications on Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Identify and automate repetitive manual tasks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate directly with US-based software engineers and open-source package maintainers.
  • Elicit requirements, estimate scope, and plan sprints as a key member of the client's team.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Software or DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in C and C++ for source code management and dependency handling.
  • Experience with build tools such as CMake, Autotools, nmake, and gcc.
  • Competence in the administration of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Proficiency in Git and the full development lifecycle (design, testing, implementation, release).
  • English: Intermediate level required for daily communication with client engineers.

Nice to have

  • Experience contributing to open-source repositories.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with packaging software using Homebrew, RPM, or Conda.
  • Proficiency in Python or knowledge of the R programming language.
