Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement agent-based LLM systems utilizing tool calling and orchestration.
• Apply RAG to ground AI outputs in internal sustainability data.
• Define evaluation patterns and quality control mechanisms, such as LLM-as-a-judge.
• Own the backend services for AI-driven Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) workflows.
• Collaborate with the CTO and sustainability experts to set the technical direction for AI-related backend systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development with strong Python skills.
• Proven track record of professional agent development, including familiarity with RAG, tool-calling, and agent design patterns.
• Must live in the EU (CET ±1) and possess a valid work permit.
• Fluent in English with clear written and verbal communication.
• Experience working in startup or scale-up environments.

• Experience in data-heavy or audit-relevant domains.
• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• German language proficiency.
