Data Annotation Specialist (Engineering)

Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada)

Salary: 30 CAD/hour

What you will do

• Break down engineering tasks such as reporting, component search, and material billing into discrete steps for tool-use training.
• Evaluate the model's ability to respond to engineering procedures and workflows.
• Task models with verified information to assess the accuracy of responses.
• Label, proofread, and improve both human-written and machine-generated engineering outputs.
• Follow style guides and provide recommendations for unique edge cases.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• 3+ years of industry experience in engineering fields (civil, mechanical, electrical, or chemical).
• Educational background in engineering (Bachelors, Masters, or similar).
• Experience with medium-to-large scale engineering projects involving design, prototyping, and manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CAD software, material billing, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

Nice to have

• Technician or engineering specialist training and experience.
