What you will do

• Design and optimize turbofan components, modules, and sub-systems for life, weight, manufacturability, and cost.
• Carry out thermo-mechanical simulations at design, off-design, and far off-design conditions to ensure safety and operability.
• Perform creep, LCF/HCF, fracture, modal, dynamic, WEDM, and rotodynamic analyses.
• Conduct FMECA to support safety and operability assessments.
• Develop methodologies, software chains, and automated analysis/reports.
• Review designs and simulations, generate testing guidelines, identify risks, and plan mitigations.

Requirements

• Fluent in English.
• Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree or related field.
• Strong background in gas turbine propulsion, mechanical design, integrity, and/or heat transfer.
• Experience in compressor and turbine modules; whole engine structural analysis and clearance assessments is a plus.
• 5+ years experience for senior roles.
• Proficient in design packages such as Solidworks, Siemens NX or similar.
• Experience in FEA using Ansys, Nastran or equivalent.
• Awareness of state-of-the-art materials and structural mechanics for gas turbine propulsion.
• Good communication, presentation, problem-solving, prioritization, and delegation skills.
