What you will do

• Define and guide the architecture of internal developer tools, integrating AI-powered agents, coding assistants, and diagnostic tools.
• Own and evolve agentic-first engineering standards and SDLC frameworks across R&D to enable effective AI-assisted workflows.
• Identify and resolve development lifecycle pain points using metrics such as build times and deployment cycle time.
• Drive automation initiatives using agentic AI and machine learning to streamline onboarding and reduce environment toil.
• Define developer experience standards and ensure production readiness for all internal services.
• Mentor and coach engineers, providing constructive feedback and guiding technical decisions.

Requirements

• Considerable experience in Developer Relations, Developer Productivity, or building internal tooling for complex systems.
• Proven experience integrating Generative AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to improve engineering efficiency.
• Extensive expertise with AWS and distributed cloud architectures.
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform, Python, Go, and experience with PHP in an OO codebase.
• Deep experience with observability platforms such as DataDog.
• Must have existing right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship provided).
