What you will do

• Develop and optimize algorithms for raw sensor and GPS data using signal processing.
• Build and deploy scalable models to provide contextualized insights for sports scientists and coaches.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate optical tracking and wearable data.
• Lead high-impact projects to shape the future of athlete performance tracking.

Requirements

• Strong mathematical background in statistical operations and physics-based calculations.
• Experience building and monitoring complex AI/ML models in production at scale.
• Expertise in multi-modal time series data for deep learning analysis and forecasting.
• Background in biomechanical modeling and signal processing.
• Proficiency with CI/CD for ML (e.g., MLflow, TFX) and unit testing for stochastic processes.
• Must live within commuting distance of London or Barcelona.

Nice to have

• Experience with IMU sensors, GPS tracking, and biometric data.
• Deep understanding of biomechanics or exercise physiology.
• Experience fine-tuning visual or large language models (LLMs).
• Experience with low-latency, real-time systems.
• PhD in biometrics, mathematics, or a related field.
