Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (hirify.global Drive): Support development of EV driver products including app experiences, charging solutions with an accent on defining QA strategy, building test automation suites, and manual testing. Location: Hub Based - Hybrid (Bristol, Glasgow, or London; in office at least once a week). Unable to offer sponsorship.

Salary: £46,220 - £55,000 + 15% bonus + 9% Flex Pay

What you will do

• Set quality standards with engineers and build tools/processes to meet them.
• Understand customer pain points and mitigate them through testing.
• Collaborate with product managers to plan/prioritise QA work.
• Maintain automation test suites using Appium and manually test builds.
• Coordinate App Store/Play Store deployments and provide QA estimates in sprints.
• Validate issues with on-call engineers and contribute to team testing standards.

Requirements

• Hub based in UK (Bristol, Glasgow, London); office at least once a week.
• Full responsibility for product quality from discovery to release.
• Experience with Appium for automation test suites.
• Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools.
• Strong collaboration with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Participate in discovery for comprehensive test cases and sprint planning.
