Senior QA Automation Engineer (Motor Insurance)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright for web and Maestro for mobile.
• Define and implement automation framework architecture aligned with squad needs and QA standards.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Lead mobile automation initiatives for iOS and Android using BrowserStack, TestFlight, and Intune.
• Own end-to-end quality for squad deliverables, including functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Mentor and upskill junior QA team members, conducting code reviews to ensure maintainability.

Requirements

• Experience with Playwright and Maestro for automated test suites.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.
• Proven ability to mentor junior QA team members.
• Proficiency in functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing.
• Experience in defining and tracking quality metrics.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to commute to Liverpool, UK (3 days/week office)

• Knowledge of BrowserStack, Testflight, and Intune for mobile testing.
