Software Test Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Understand business, functional, and technical requirements to test hirify.global products and processes.
• Pair with team members to influence solution development and delivery for optimal customer outcomes.
• Execute manual and automated tests across UI, APIs, back office workflows, 3rd party integrations, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Raise detailed bugs, support UAT, production releases, and contribute to research projects and POCs.
• Implement test automation strategies alongside Technical Leads from project inception.
• Apply Agile practices to protect customers and meet regulatory requirements like consumer duty.

Requirements

• Full understanding of testing lifecycle, methodologies, and automation concepts.
• Experience testing Web APIs, exploratory testing in Agile, and developing/extending test frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript, TDD, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, AWS CodePipeline.
• Technical grasp of processes under test and ability to collaborate with developers.
• Strong communication skills for technical and business stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Agile/SCRUM/SAFe experience.
• E-commerce or financial services background.
