Lead Business Consultant, ABOR (FinTech)

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid with two office days per week and remote work on other days. Ability to travel to client sites is required.

Salary: CAD 115,040–165,40 per year for Toronto, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead major parts of investment management software implementation projects focused on accounting book of records.
• Analyze customer accounting requirements and processes across banks, asset managers, asset owners, and insurers.
• Design solutions for effective use of the investment management platform and support project delivery.
• Work closely with project managers, coordinate activities, monitor issues, and escalate risks when needed.
• Act as the main customer contact for platform-related questions.
• Mentor less experienced consultants and contribute to implementation best practices and international knowledge exchange.

Requirements

• Experience as an analyst or implementation consultant in asset management, banking, insurance, or consulting.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience with investment and/or fund accounting and the enterprise applications supporting these functions, or experience delivering multiple ABOR implementations on the buy side.
• Strong knowledge of at least two areas including asset management, back office, financial reporting, or asset management software implementations.
• Basic understanding of financial products, the financial industry, and related accounting.
• Degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or applied sciences is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to travel to client sites.

Nice to have

• Insurance industry accounting experience.
• CPA, CA, or CFA qualification.
• Hands-on experience with hirify.global Dimension.
