Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 a year

What you will do

• Prototype and iterate on gameplay content, including game flow, interactable objects, and player abilities.
• Implement event hooks for narrative and audio content, scripted sequences, and tutorial systems.
• Collaborate with artists and designers to improve content implementation and leverage existing technology.
• Work with engineers to refine design workflows while respecting performance and technical constraints.
• Provide effort estimates and updates to producers and leadership to ensure goals are met.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in game development, with at least 2 years of Technical Design experience.
• Proficiency and confidence with modern text-based scripting languages.
• Experience shipping at least one product, preferably in the exploration or horror genres.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside within Canada.
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and communication skills.

• Experience developing or playing games with a cooperative gameplay focus.
