PL/SQL Software Engineer (Oracle)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain new features across HRIS modules like Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and CoreHR.
• Modernize existing features in a multi-tenant cloud SaaS environment.
• Write high-performance Oracle PL/SQL code, stored procedures, and functions following best practices.
• Optimize SQL queries and data operations for large datasets and high transaction volumes.
• Validate work through shift-left testing including unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Leverage AI tools for development, refactoring, and documentation; collaborate in agile team with code reviews and architecture discussions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Solid understanding of Oracle RDBMS including performance tuning, indexing, triggers, and execution plans.
• Experience in SaaS or transactional systems with complex business logic.
• Ability to design efficient data structures, functions, and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with shift-left development, writing tests, and ensuring correctness.
• Experience using AI development tools; strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Experience collaborating in distributed, agile teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with the HR industry.
