What you will do

• Design, develop and optimize end-to-end ML models for fault detection, including data choices, training, evaluation, and production constraints.
• Perform EDA on vibration, OT, and time-series data to uncover fault patterns and anomalies.
• Experiment with time-series modeling, signal processing, and statistical methods to boost model performance.
• Partner with PMs on product discovery, hypothesis validation, metrics design, and impact quantification.
• Collaborate with domain experts to align models with real-world applications.
• Engage with peers to improve practices, architecture, and Applied Science culture; on-call duties.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related, focused on condition monitoring or ML.
• 5+ years programming with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar ML tools.
• Strong knowledge of ML, data science, statistics.
• Familiarity with time-series modeling and feature engineering.
• Ability to deliver well-tested, maintainable production code with rigorous experimentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with OT/vibration analysis, condition monitoring, fault detection models.
• Signal processing techniques like Fourier transforms, wavelet analysis for OT/vibration data.
