Deep-tech startup building an AI-powered platform to democratize personalized medicine using proprietary optical fingerprint library for disease biomarkers, focusing on Alzheimer's, digestive cancer, stroke, and infectious diseases.

What you will do

• Support data science workflows from problem framing to delivery on specific projects.
• Analyze proprietary biomedical datasets to identify patterns, variability, and performance improvements.
• Develop and apply statistical and machine learning methods for noisy, high-dimensional data.
• Contribute to validation strategies, uncertainty checks, and robustness testing.
• Improve preprocessing pipelines, signal quality, and acquisition protocols using raw data from instruments.
• Apply chemometric and multivariate analysis to spectroscopic data and communicate findings cross-functionally.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years experience in quantitative data problems in academia or industry.
• Strong foundation in applied statistics, predictive modelling, and experimental design.
• Experience with raw data and instrumentation for signal quality and protocol optimization.
• Strong data preprocessing, feature engineering, exploratory analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemometric or multivariate analysis of spectroscopic data (Raman, FTIR).
• Interest in mentoring and learning from senior colleagues.
