Red Team Associate Consultant (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Red Team Associate Consultant (Cybersecurity): Performing dedicated red team activities simulating known threat actors to help customers determine the impact and likelihood of breaches with an accent on the Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK Framework. Focus on conducting penetration assessments, developing security recommendations, and operating as a technical operator with an OPSEC mindset.

Location: Remote (USA). Eligible only for members of the U.S. Armed Forces separating honorably.

What you will do

• Perform penetration assessments of operating systems, applications, databases, and network infrastructure components to detect threats.
• Produce high-quality reports, presentations, and security-focused recommendations for customer management.
• Coordinate with senior leadership and technical support teams within the organization.
• Lead or assist in developing and improving information security programs and resources.
• Provide specialized guidance to operational teams during enterprise-wide crisis scenarios.
• Act as a technical operator on various penetration testing offerings using an OPSEC mindset.

Requirements

• Eligibility: Must be a member of the U.S. Armed Forces separating honorably with greater than 180 days of continuous Active Duty.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Red Team or Penetration Testing activities is highly preferred.
• Advanced experience with tools such as Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, and Burp Suite.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Mac operating systems.
• Advanced experience with networking components (routers, switches, load balancers) and security infrastructure (firewalls, proxies).
• Advanced experience in automation and scripting of applications and systems.

Nice to have

• Certifications: OSCP, GPEN, OSCE, GCIH, GXPN.
• Active participation in the security community (conference speaker, tool development contributor).
