Salary: $114,930 - $249,522 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex projects involving dams, spillways, intakes, and other hydropower structure improvements.
• Develop technical solutions and project workplans from initial concept to final closeout.
• Create high-quality technical documents, engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across disciplines to deliver PS&Es and technical analyses.
• Manage equipment procurement and actively participate in construction management processes.
• Mentor and manage junior engineers to build a highly capable design and execution team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in hydraulic or civil engineering.
• Active professional engineering registration or licensure (P.E.).
• No visa sponsorship available.
• Strong familiarity with hydropower industry design guides and engineering codes.

Nice to have

• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Business.
• Direct experience working with hydropower clients on the West Coast.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements for dams.
