Legal Intern (Cosmetics)

TL;DR

Legal Intern (Commercial & Licensing): Supporting the APAC regional counsel in drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts with an accent on distribution, licensing, and brand protection. Focus on providing legally sound advice across cross-functional teams and managing regulatory compliance within the cosmetics industry.

Location: Singapore (Hybrid: up to 50% remote)

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including distribution, retail, sponsorship, and licensing agreements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory Compliance, R&D, and Finance teams.
• Provide legally sound advice on marketing, finance, sales, regulatory, and litigation matters.
• Prepare and deliver a presentation on a legal case or legislative development at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently reading law or a graduate from a university or institution of higher learning.
• Available to commit for at least 6 months (July - December).
• Must be based in or authorized to work in Singapore.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a commitment to confidentiality.
