What you will do

• Design and develop headless Optimizely DXP platform supporting 150+ marketing websites with 50M+ page views/year, defining architectural standards for content modeling, rendering, and optimization.
• Build and maintain Next.js front-ends deployed on Vercel, integrating backend APIs and SDKs for dynamic content delivery.
• Implement Optimizely personalization, A/B testing, and experimentation features for scalable user experiences.
• Optimize site performance including Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility (WCAG 2.2), and develop custom integrations like tokenization and caching.
• Manage Vercel hosting, GitHub repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with DevOps and QA for code quality and automation.
• Partner with marketing, design, SEO, and analytics teams, mentor engineers, and establish best practices and documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering experience with emphasis on CMS-driven digital marketing platforms.
• Expert JavaScript/TypeScript with Next.js (App Router, ISR/SSR/SSG), React, semantic HTML, modern CSS (Tailwind).
• Advanced proficiency with Optimizely CMS SaaS, Content Graph, SDK/APIs, headless delivery, custom integrations, personalization, and experimentation.
• Experience with Vercel hosting (builds, serverless, edge middleware, caching), GitHub, CI/CD, large multi-site architectures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills; ability to work in Scrum teams and deliver on timelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Optimizely CMP, DAM, ODP, Experimentation, Opal AI.
• Composable MarTech stacks, CDPs, analytics, CRM-driven marketing.
• WordPress/PHP, Figma-to-code, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
