Engineering Technician Intern (Hardware Engineering)

What you will do

• Maintain and organize the engineering labs in Deer Park.
• Assist engineers with prototype development, rework, assembly, and daily technical needs.
• Conduct data collection and analysis for new hardware designs.
• Interface with operations teams to determine export classifications for international shipments.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering (second year or greater).
• Experience with analog circuitry, lab equipment, and power supply topologies.
• Proficiency in soldering and rework standards.
• Skilled in circuit and system-level troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Basic programming skills in C/C++.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted.

Nice to have

• Expertise with high-speed oscilloscopes, waveform generators, spectrum/network analyzers, and HI POT/Ground Bond testers.
• Experience using BOM structure archiving systems.
