Salary: $98,500 – $121,000

What you will do

• Support valuation consulting projects through interaction with client personnel and external professional firms.
• Conduct technical, industry, and company research utilizing economic, financial, statistical, and data science tools.
• Execute complex valuation analyses to assess economic questions and prepare findings reports for clients.
• Perform detailed reviews of financial statements and build complex cash flow projections and valuation models.
• Maintain comprehensive working paper records of assumptions, methodologies, and data sources.
• Prepare written analyses and quantitative exhibits for third-party presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or an equivalent field.
• 3+ years of relevant post-undergraduate full-time work experience in finance, accounting, valuation, or business analysis.
• Experience in business valuation, intangible assets, and the quantification of economic losses in dispute contexts.
• Strong skills in analytical modeling, technical accounting, and cash flow modeling.
• Currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis.
• Located in Toronto with the ability to travel to offices and clients.

Nice to have

• Professional designations such as CPA, CVA, or CFA.
• Accreditation or ongoing study in CBV, ABV, or ASA credentialing programs.
• 3+ years of specific experience in litigation and disputes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and development of dynamic spreadsheet applications.
