Data Center Security Officer, COL5 (Sun - Wed: 10:00pm - 8:00am)

Location: On-site in Columbus, OH. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship or transfer.

Salary: $20 - $25 an hour (shift differential eligible)

What you will do

• Verify identities and enforce controlled access for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
• Monitor surveillance systems, access control alarms, and fire alarms, initiating responses and escalations
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols, identify security concerns, and document findings
• Issue visitor credentials, maintain logs, and ensure chain-of-custody standards
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, alarms, and medical emergencies per procedures
• Support secure shipping/receiving and maintain security areas

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years in security, access control, or related field preferred
• Experience with badge systems, CCTV, alarms, visitor management, or incident reporting preferred
• Strong judgment, situational awareness, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Clear written/verbal communication for logging and reporting
• Comfortable with 24x7 shifts including nights, weekends, holidays
• CPR/AED/first aid certifications preferred
