What you will do

• Analyze and interpret security logs and data to support cybersecurity initiatives.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze security data.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and business units on security projects.
• Utilize GitHub and Copilot to support development and automation efforts.
• Drive process improvements and maintain detailed project documentation and timelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Software Engineering, or Network Engineering.
• Strong expertise in writing SQL queries and understanding data use cases.
• Background in application development or network support combined with scripting.
• Knowledge of security logging and monitoring concepts.
• Experience working within large enterprise or regulated environments.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Dallas, TX.

Nice to have

• Basic Python or general scripting skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot.
• Exposure to project management or coordination responsibilities.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
