Software Engineer (Backend)

What you will do

• Design and implement secure, scalable REST APIs using Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda.
• Develop and optimize efficient code for serverless solutions using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and maintain complex relational database schemas with Postgres SQL Aurora.
• Write optimized SQL queries to support business data analytics.
• Monitor and optimize API latency and execution time using AWS X-Ray and CloudWatch.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, RDS (PostgreSQL), and IAM.
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, including advanced SQL, window functions, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in using CloudWatch and X-Ray to trace requests across distributed systems.
• Experience configuring Bitbucket Pipelines, including parallel steps and service containers.
