Location: On-site in New York City, NY

Salary: $150,000 – $275,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own reliability across GCP infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters, managed services, and data pipelines to improve availability and latency.
• Lead end-to-end incident response, including on-call rotations, runbook creation, and driving postmortems to prevent recurrence.
• Architect and execute database scaling strategies such as sharding and replication for MySQL and Postgres at scale.
• Manage and evolve the Terraform-managed GCP environment and Kubernetes cluster configurations.
• Build and maintain full-stack observability through metrics, dashboards, alerting, and tracing.
• Improve CI/CD reliability using GitHub Actions and harden IAM, secrets management, and network segmentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York City, NY for on-site work.
• Deep hands-on experience scaling and sharding relational databases in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency with GCP (Kubernetes, VPC, IAM, Cloud Logging, and managed services).
• Fluency in Terraform and experience owning infrastructure-as-code at scale.
• Strong incident response instincts and the ability to manage P0 incidents calmly under pressure.
• Experience with GitHub Actions in a production CI/CD environment.
