What you will do

• Develop high-performance concurrent code in Python or Go for large-scale network sweeps using Nmap, ICMP, and ARP.
• Implement agentless data extraction modules via SNMP (v1-v3), WMI, and SSH to query hardware without local agents.
• Create and refine fingerprinting heuristics for accurate device identification, mapping scan data to specific vendors and models.
• Engineer backend data pipelines for normalization and deduplication of raw network data.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs to synchronize enriched configuration item (CI) data with Xurrent CMDB.
• Debug complex network issues related to TCP/IP, routing, VLAN segmentation, and firewall blocks.

Requirements

• Experience with network scanning tools including Nmap, ICMP, and ARP.
• Proficiency in SNMP, WMI, and SSH-based discovery for various operating systems.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals (subnets, VLANs, routing).
• Experience developing REST APIs and data normalization pipelines.
• Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with tools like Netdisco, OpenNMS, or JDisc.
