What you will do

• Design Java solutions for modernizing legacy applications, primarily developing CTU refactoring tool from COBOL to Java
• Write well-designed, testable code
• Solve problems and assist others
• Participate in code reviews
• Handle project activities like integrating libraries, solution customization, and automation
• Engage in other language modernization tasks as needed

Requirements

• 7+ years of Java development experience
• Experience with Java libraries: Spring Framework, Guava, Apache Commons, Guice/Dependency Injection, JPA, EMF
• Good knowledge of SQL, ORM, relational databases
• Practical skills in CI/CD: Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, Jira
• Good command of Test-Driven Development
• Development mostly on Windows with Eclipse
