What you will do

• Define and drive the internal AI agenda, identifying high-value opportunities.
• Lead end-to-end AI projects hands-on alongside the team.
• Drive AI adoption across engineering delivery through tooling, workflows, and best practices.
• Build and maintain a flexible AI team, shaping future hires.
• Set and evolve internal AI technical direction and quality standards.
• Collaborate with product teams to apply AI to company products.
• Support Sales and client calls representing AI capabilities.

Requirements

• European residence required
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field
• 8+ years in AI/ML, including leading projects and teams
• Strong hands-on technical skills in ML algorithms, data modeling, model development/deployment, and software engineering
• Proven ability to drive AI adoption and culture change in engineering organizations
• Strong communication skills for engineers, leadership, and clients
• Track record in remote-first, globally distributed environments

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, generative AI, RAG systems, or AI agents
• Familiarity with MLOps platforms and enterprise ML infrastructure
• Prior experience at software engineering consultancy or professional services
• Experience in pre-sales or client-facing technical conversations
• Contributions to thought leadership or industry speaking
