Academic Worker – Quality (QA/QC)

Location: Elwood, KS Manufacturing Site (on-site)

What you will do

• Plan and execute a major QA/QC document archive re-organization project.
• Support document control and regulatory compliance activities within the Quality Management System.
• Analyze QA/QC workflows and create visual process maps and updated Standard Operating Procedures.
• Apply 5S and Kanban inventory systems in a laboratory setting.
• Identify process improvements and translate team ideas into efficient, documented workflows.

Requirements

• Currently attending Missouri Western State University.
• At least one year of study completed in a technical or science-related field such as Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or Quality Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-assessment skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for documenting SOPs and presenting project progress.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Nice to have

• Interest in Lean Six Sigma or Operational Excellence methodologies.
