TL;DR

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Product owners, QAs, Dev, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure test automation best practices and code quality.
  • Analyze tickets, plan tests, and develop automation tests based on acceptance criteria.
  • Support deployment of test environments, debug issues, and conduct code reviews.
  • Execute full SDLC, manage CI/CD processes, and generate automated test reports.
  • Set up and maintain test automation frameworks, infrastructure, and security pipelines.
  • Implement supporting scripts and tools for Developers and QA Engineers.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field (postgraduate is a plus).
  • Minimum 4 years as Software Engineer in Test, Developer, or DevOps.
  • Testing mentality and ability to code in Java, Groovy, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with automation frameworks (Spock, Selenium, Cypress, Webdriver.io, Playwright) and Web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Knowledge of coding standards, test pyramid, test planning, and coordination.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Growth mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in virtualization, cloud (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, GCP), and IaC (Ansible).
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Cross-browser/device automation with Sauce Labs or Browserstack.
  • Open source contributions and DevOps mentality with Linux.
