Location: Hybrid in Japan (Tokyo - Ariake Koto-ku, Hiroshima - Higashi-ku, Nagoya - Aichi). Willing to travel up to 30% domestic and international.

What you will do

• Deliver Telematic Units to customers as the primary SW contact.
• Orchestrate virtual, cross-functional, global project teams.
• Plan, monitor, control, and track software projects for schedule, effort, quality, and process goals.
• Establish SW project management processes and development lifecycle aligned with hirify.global standards and project needs.
• Create and update milestone schedules synchronized with program, customer, and suppliers.
• Provide regular SW program status updates and represent internally/externally to senior management.

Requirements

• Fluent Japanese (Level 2) and Business English.
• University degree in engineering (Electrical, IT, Computer Science) or Business Administration.
• Expert knowledge in project management and coordination in globally distributed environments (Waterfall, Agile).
• Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE, CMMI).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and execution skills.
• Team management experience with 10+ people directly or indirectly.
• Willing to travel up to 30% domestic and international; pass background check/aptitude test.

• Certified PMP.
• Automotive experience.
• Projects with Automotive ASPICE Level 3.
• Experience in real-time embedded software and systems.
• Team management with 25+ people.
• Fluent Japanese (N1).
