Location: Onsite in Washington, DC metropolitan area (Bethesda, MD). Must be US Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust 5 security clearance.

What you will do

• Develop advanced statistical, machine learning, and AI models for biomedical and clinical data analysis.
• Manage clinical data systems, perform integration, harmonization, and quality assessments.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Python, R, and Databricks.
• Participate in biomedical informatics research and develop analytic tools for health discovery.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into scalable platforms.
• Lead data science tasks, mentor juniors, and contribute to publications.

Requirements

• Master's in data science, biostatistics, computer science, bioinformatics, or related (PhD preferred).
• 5+ years in advanced statistical analysis, ML, or large-scale data analytics.
• Experience with biomedical, clinical, or public health datasets.
• Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, SQL, and Databricks.
• Experience leading tasks or mentoring, collaborating with engineers/DevOps.
• US Citizen able to obtain Public Trust 5 clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with HHS, NIH, or federal biomedical datasets.
