What you will do
- Assist priority IDNs, health systems, and community oncology groups in identifying EHR gaps and barriers.
- Problem-solve EHR issues, provide solutions, and ensure patient safety through collaboration with end users, clinicians, IT, and informatics teams.
- Conduct needs assessments and develop/implement comprehensive, customer-specific plans to address patient care gaps.
- Act as subject matter expert for Health IT, sharing insights with internal (Marketing/Access/Sales) and external stakeholders.
- Optimize EHR systems for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department use to improve patient identification and treatment processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum 5 years in design, build, and/or testing of EHR software (Epic Beacon, Oracle Health, iKnowMed, OncoEMR preferred) or Health System informatics at leadership level
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare/Clinical Informatics, interoperability, software build, and optimization techniques.
- Ability to discover issues, prioritize, problem-solve, and identify gaps in EHR systems.
- Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills; team player in matrix environment.
- Ability to consistently travel overnight
Nice to have
- Pharm. D or Masterβs degree.
- Clinical IT, Pharmacy IT, or Nursing Informatics experience.
