What you will do

• Execute I/O performance validation and analyze KPIs including throughput, IOPS, and latency.
• Identify performance gaps and bottlenecks across silicon, firmware, OS, driver, and application layers.
• Drive debugging using hypothesis-based analysis and propose optimization ideas to evaluate improvements.
• Support local product I/O performance development and platform-level validation for key programs.
• Assist China CSP customers with I/O performance co-validation and resolve issues from a PTP perspective.
• Mitigate single-point-of-failure risks by contributing to coverage in NIC, NVMe, and GPU I/O domains.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Solid knowledge of CPU and system architecture, specifically PCIe.
• Proficiency in Linux fundamentals, including command line and process/file system basics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Good English verbal and writing skills for collaboration with global stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with operating systems, kernel, storage stack, networking, or AI GPU systems.
• Familiarity with performance profiling methodologies and experimental design.
• Knowledge of I/O benchmarking tools (e.g., FIO) and system performance tools.
• Understanding of modern I/O software paths or direct GPU AI system design.
